Cheek Filler
Christchurch, Hamilton, Auckland & Timaru
Lift.
Define.
Restore balance.
At Ellis & Jones, our cheek filler treatments enhance your natural features by restoring lost volume and definition.
The result is a refreshed, youthful appearance that still looks completely like you — just a little more lifted and confident.
What Is Cheek Filler?
Cheek fillers use hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers to subtly lift and contour the mid-face area.
Over time, volume loss in the cheeks can cause the face to appear tired or flat. By restoring structure and definition, cheek filler rejuvenates your natural shape and improves overall facial balance.

What to Expect
Your appointment begins with a consultation to assess your natural facial structure and discuss your goals.
The treatment takes around 30–45 minutes, with minimal discomfort thanks to numbing agents in the filler.
You may experience light swelling or tenderness for a day or two, which quickly settles. Results are visible immediately and can last 12–18 months, depending on your metabolism and product type.
Frequently asked questions
How long do cheek fillers last?
Cheek filler results typically last 12–18 months, depending on your metabolism, product choice, and lifestyle.
Do cheek fillers hurt?
Most clients find the treatment comfortable. Numbing agents within the filler help minimise any discomfort during injections.
What is the downtime after cheek filler?
There’s minimal downtime. You may experience mild swelling or tenderness for 24–48 hours, but you can return to normal activities right away.
Will cheek fillers make me look unnatural?
Not at all. At Ellis & Jones, we focus on subtle, balanced results that enhance your natural structure — never overfilled or artificial.
Can I combine cheek filler with other treatments?
Yes. Cheek filler pairs beautifully with dermal filler in other areas or anti-wrinkle treatments to achieve full facial harmony and rejuvenation.
